From October 25th to 28th the fashion world not only in Lagos but in Nigeria buzzed with so much activity, it was hard not to feel the excitement even if you were all the way in Abuja!
The Theme? Africa: Shaping Fashion’s Future. There were sessions delving into the issue as well as fashion shows to floor all fashion shows in Nigeria. But what is fashion week without the fashion outside? the ones who really show us the trends…
For those who don’t know, ‘LFDW is a multi-day fashion week held in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in 2011 by Omoyemi Akerele, Executive Director & Founder of Style House, a Fashion Business Development Agency, it provides a platform for buyers, media and fashion enthusiasts to view collections from leading designers from Nigeria and across Africa.
