Paris Fashion Week is currently underway and Celine Dion is stealing the show. Recently, she was in the news for her mental illness issues soon after the loss of her husband. Now, she’s in the news for her style.
The singer donned several colorful outfits throughout the week, with one dress even coming dangerously close to causing a wardrobe malfunction. Fortunately, her other fashion choices went forward without incident.
On Thursday, the 51-year-old songstress kicked off the week with a $6,000 Chanel unitard, with the brand’s name emblazoned around her waist.
This brings us to the question of what should we be wearing when we’re 51 or when we get to the youthful part of old age (that’s what someone calls the 50s- the youth of old age , and the 40s, the old age of youth!) Should we begin to wind down on our extravagant fashion choices or should we challenge the status quo and ‘live it up!’? Tell me in the comment section…
Two days later though, Dion followed up by showcasing her ornate pink Miu Miu midi dress, topped off with a large black bow.
On Sunday, Dion stepped in front of photographers to show off a business-themed blazer with white buttons, along with a yellow tutu. She’s not shy about showing off her well toned legs now is she?
The singer’s most jaw-dropping outfit came last Monday, when she came out dressed in a red 3D net gown from designer Iris van Herpen. While wearing the dress, Dion’s heel got caught on the bottom of the dress, but luckily she was able to untangle it before anything was revealed! Very Risque:
On Tuesday, she wore a white dress with long, billowy sleeves in front of a complementary white backdrop.
…those legs again….
That’s how you serve it on Paris fashion Week, when you’re 51, rich, talented and still have a whole lot to live for!!! (drops fashion mic and walks off stage)
