Dzyn, one of the looks we were watching out for, may not have taken us to the moon entirely, but there was this purple sequined pantsuit that shot to the top of our wish list really quickly! It was fit, uncomplicated and it was rich in color and sass! Black Coffee however, had some of the most captivating pieces for the day. Not just your average dress or separates, there was a good choice and match of fabric and design. JZO brought masculinity and strength onto the catwalk with strong colors and designs. We loved the way the waist bag was styled into the collection. For non- fans like us who are still trying to appreciate this trend, it took the trend upwards . Good job. Altogether, clean, stylish lines and cuts. One of our best for the day.
Sunny Rose was generous with the feather details on hemlines, necklines, sleeves and even pockets. Ugo Monye, the men’s fashion designer, popular for his unique way of designing the agbada and its other matching separates, showed little in the agbada direction, choosing to focus on the men’s separates with matching outer coats in varying lengths.
Can’t decide which day got us more excited, day 1 or day 2, we’ll let you decide.
